Complete with a soft flocked top sleep surface, this air bed is raised so you or your guests are up off the floor, away from any cold drafts. Engineered with diamond top construction, this air bed gives you the feel of a luxurious high priced mattress without spending hundreds, even thousands on a bed. The 23 gauge (.60 mm) super-thick, water proof flocked top and 14 gauge (.35 mm) sides and bottom give this air bed 600 lbs. weight capacity. The whole bed has expertly electronically welded seams for long lasting quality. The handheld powerful ETL listed A/C pump can have the mattress ready from box to bed in about 4 minutes. The pump, which is external and detachable, can be used to inflate other inflatables as well. The bed uses standard queen sheets (not included), and the fitted sheet is aided by the flocked topping and a well placed horizontal groove along all sides to limit sheet slippage. Patented anti-roll edges on the sides and at the foot and the head of the bed are a little bit higher, keeping you on the bed and off the floor. When you're ready to pack the item up, simply open the patented 2-in-1 valve to release the air, roll and fold, and store the item neatly in the included storage bag - easy to keep in a linen closet, under a desk (for those of you who take naps at work) or anywhere with limited space. Let me preface my quote and say that I have owned a number of air beds in my lifetime. I usually get them from a group store like Target, however this time I decided to give buying online a shot. usually the beds I've owned have felt like sleeping on a beach ball. You move to one side and the air moved to the other. You get the feeling that if you roll over, that it's going to tip. That Is Not The Case With This Bed. This bed is solid. It's just the right height and seems to have a good size to weight ratio. Mattress feel is very firm and solid. It undoubtedly does not feel like you are going to tip when you sleep on it. Beast way I can quote it is that it feel meaty. It's heavy too (definitely weighs more than the other beds I've owned). Not sure what the discrepancy is between this bed and the Target bed, but I am undoubtedly going to recommend this bed to others.
